Motor Vehicle Dealer Bond

$10,000 to $100,000

Bond amount is set by vehicle category per NRS 482.345(1): $100,000 for standard motor vehicle dealers and travel trailers; $50,000 for motorcycles, horse trailers without living quarters, or special-purpose trailers over 3,500 lbs; $10,000 for utility/boat trailers under 3,501 lbs. After 5 years of satisfactory licensure, the Department may reduce the bond by written agreement but not below 50% of the required amount.
